Gary Eugene McManigell

Gary Eugene McManigell 67, of Fort Pierce, Florida, and formerly of Sullivan County, Indiana went to be with his Lord and Savior on Feb 3, 2026.

                Gary was born July 12, 1958, in Springfield, Illinois to Larry McManigell and Elma Ashton.

                Gary was proceeded in death by his parents and grandson Bryce Bedwell.

                 Survivors include his soul mate Jeannie Bonfer, Stepfather, Chuck Brodie, and multiple brothers and sisters.

                 Children include Chad McManigell, Matthew (Jamie) McManigell, Lacie (Tony) Herrick, Brittany McManigell (Jeremy Denham), Gene Bonfer and Matthew Bonfer.            Grandchildren include James (Abby) McManigell, Matthew “Bub” Bonfer, Zander (Katlynn) Bedwell, Courtney Denham, Blaze McManigell, Cadie McManigell, Allison Orr, Jackson Orr, Peyton McManigell, Waylon McManigell, Jameson Herrick, Lynnon McManigell.

                Great grandchildren Wrigley and Berkley McManigell with two on the way, also Uncles; Carl Ashton (Esta), Tom Ashton, and Larry Walker.

                Gary proudly served his country in the 6th Infantry Division in Berlin, Germany. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 40 in Fort Pierce, Florida, serving as Sergeant of Arms. Gary attended school at Sullivan High School, became known as a “jack of all trades” throughout the course of his life. He loved to be outdoors, riding his Harley and spending time with friends and family. Gary was a classic biker through and through, ready to jump on and ride any chance he got. He was an avid animal lover, leaving behind his beloved Ringo and BeBe.

There will be a Celebration of Life in remembrance of Gary in the upcoming months.
