Loretta Mae (Wilkinson) Monroe

Loretta Mae Monroe, 92, of Evansville, IN passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2026, at the Evansville Protestant Home.

            She was born in Dubois, IN December 12, 1933, the daughter of James Roscoe Wilkinson and Hattie Ellen Albright Wilkinson.

            She retired from Westinghouse Corp as an Administrative Assistant.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, Richard Monroe, a son, Randall L. Monroe, two brothers, Kenneth and Eugene Wilkinson and a sister, Edith Fern King.

            Survivors include a son, Gary D. Monroe of Evansville, IN, daughter, Julie Drumm (Mark) of Dubois, IN, grandchildren; Vanessa McClure, Heather Thomas (Norman), Heidi Lovins, Casey Monroe, Hattie Monroe, Michelle Drumm (Fred) Tyler Drumm (Jamie) and Tia Drumm (Allen), great grandchildren, Levi Jackson, Danika Jakson, Jonathon Drumm, Azayla Pierce and Braylin Pierce.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Saturday January 24, 2026, at Brust Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Sam Phegley officiating. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Carlisle, IN.
